Independence Day

Firstly, http://www.rtination.com/ has been launched today. Have a look. Secondly, I missed the flag hoisting because I was caught in between waiting for my dad (who was visiting me) to turn up, breakfast and the distance to audi. Then I did turn at audi since dad did turn up and we went to watch the culturals. JBS BaroC put up an amazing performance today. (I wasn't part of the show today) Praan Yeh jo des hai tera - Swades Vandemataram - a JBS adaptation Dramatics Cell performed a play. 'Ali Never Dies' written by our Drams cell itself. (I helped out my making a poster) Choreo closed the show with flags waving. Something worthwhile for dad to see while he is around here.

My First Performance

Last Saturday late night, or rather the wee hours of Sunday morning (around 2.30am), I performed for the first time in a band. I never even knew I could like fit into a band and stuff, but I guess I managed :) So I sang this song called 'Kiss Me' by Sixpence None the Richer. I 've never heard of this song till I started practising and it is so not my kinda song but then I guess it was my voice kinda song. So it wasn't too bad. :) Bottom line: I performed :) And I loved it! Yeay!! And the rest of our band was just amazing!!!! Out of puppet's madman's compulsions here is a really bad quality video :)

I was stepping out of my home. I was just a little scared, a little excited, a lot elated and much more confused 18 year old like everyone else was. July 31st Exactly 4 years after the above incident. I was awarded my degree. And by then I had moved into another institute as confused and as excited and as scared and not so elated. Pretty much nothing changed except I was no longer 18, I was 22. And in the 4 years that passed i picked a lot of friends and a lot more memories. Some good, some bad, some just unforgettable (definitely not ugly). Now, that all of us have moved on to different parts of the world, some working, some studying and some just loitering around somewhere. It would have been my last chance to meet some people or rather most until life with its many twists and turns brings y
